Quotes and booking
Written quotes reflect the inventory and access details you give us. If the job changes, a third-floor walk-up nobody mentioned, a storage unit added at the last minute, the price adjusts honestly and we explain it before work continues. Hourly jobs bill at the quoted rate in quarter-hour increments after the minimum.
Deposits and cancellation
An $80 deposit reserves your date and crew, and it comes off your final bill. Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your start time and the deposit comes back in full. Inside 48 hours, the deposit covers the crew we set aside for you.
Payment
Payment is due when the job is complete. We accept the payment methods listed on your written quote. Long-distance moves may ask for a portion at pickup, which your quote will state plainly.
Liability and valuation
Every move includes the federal baseline of $0.60 per pound per item at no charge. Full-value protection, covering repair or replacement, runs roughly 1-3% of your declared value and must be selected before move day. Cargo coverage goes up to $1,000,000 per shipment.
Claims
Report loss or damage as soon as you spot it. Federal rules allow claims up to nine months after delivery; we resolve most in weeks, not months. Claims must be filed in writing with your move date and a description of the item.
What we can’t take
Hazardous materials, propane, gasoline, perishables, and anything illegal stay off our trucks. For items of extraordinary value, cash, jewelry, documents, keep them with you; that’s safer for everyone.
Governing law
